Many community groups and organizations book their meetings in our Agnes Thompson Meeting room on the lower level. You are welcome to host your meeting here. All meetings are to be not-for-profit, open to the public and no monies charged for entrance. Just a friendly reminder: Monies for supplies may be collected, but sales of products are forbidden. We do allow authors to sell their books at library-sponsored events. Please think of us when searching for a venue for your group. .
Please note that the meeting room is for nonprofit activity. Fees and admission must not be charged. You may collect reimbursement from attendees for supples used. If a tuition for classes is charged - this must be collected off-site.
Please review the policies below and guidelines and then call us with your requested times and telephone number.
We appreciate your generous donations of gently used items. However, due to limited space, *all* donations need to be *approved* at the circulation desk, rather than deposited in the after-hours-book-return-drop-box.
DVDs and CDs must never be dropped into the after-hours-book-return-drop-box, as they can be damaged by incoming returns.
The after-hours-book-return-drop-box is for just for returns only, returned after hours only. All other items should be returned directly to the circulation desk.
*Due to limited space, donations to our book sale must be gently used, and no older than five years. Additional criteria must be met to add items to the collection.
Thank you for your considerate cooperation.
