Our Lost & Found Bin is overflowing!
We have coats, hats, gloves, a spare sock, sunglasses, sippy cups, a travel mug, a few hand made wooden and plastic bookmarks with first names, an empty key-chain pouch, and various and sundry trinkets and miscellanea.
If you have always wondered where that misplaced item disappeared to, please come and check at the Gilman Library. We would hate to discard your lost treasure.

“Danny K. Kila" will hold one more hands-on training session at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 12th, for those interested in learning how to play the Hawaiian lap steel guitar. There will be several guitars available for practice. This is a free event. Please call the Gilman Library at (603) 875-2550, for further information.
Danny Kila has been playing his Hawaiian lap steel guitar at the Gilman Library every Thursday, from 11 AM - 1 PM, since July 3rd.
His last day to play before returning to Hawaii, will be September 18th.

We will welcome Meteorologist Hayley LaPoint at WMUR-TV as our guest speaker. Hayley has been interested in weather since she was a young girl. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and an Associate’s degree in TV News from Lyndon State College in Vermont. We will learn how Hayley uses her knowledge and experience to forecast the weather for NH residents who depend on a reliable forecast for their livelihoods, commuting, outdoor activities and events.

Participants learn to view falls and the fear of falling as controllable, change the environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance.
