"The  Friends of Alton, NH Parks and Recreation is excited to announce a  community-driven effort to assess needs and improve play structures at  Jones Field.

Our current playground is outdated and no  longer meets the needs of our growing community. We envision a space  where children of all abilities can play, families can connect, and our  town can take pride.
To make this dream a reality, we need your input! Your feedback will help us shape a fundraising plan and  prioritize features that matter most to Alton residents. This survey is  short, but your voice will make a big impact."

"The  Friends of Alton, NH Parks and Recreation is a volunteer  organization  dedicated to enhancing recreational opportunities for the  Alton  community. 

We  are in the process of becoming a 501(c) 3 nonprofit,  which will expand  our ability to secure funding and make projects like  Jones Field  Project possible with little to no impact on local taxes. 

We  are the fundraising arm of Alton’s Parks & Recreation  Department.  This is where we live, work, and play, and we’re passionate  about  creating a thriving, welcoming community for everyone to enjoy.  Alton  is more than just a town—it’s home, and we’re proud to contribute  to  its growth and success. Whether you’re here to learn about our   projects, get involved, or simply explore what we’re all about, we hope   you find inspiration and connection.
